On July 26th, we lost Linda, a devoted, loving wife to me; a nurturing, tender mother to Jeff; and a caring, generous friend to so many. Over two hundred people attended her funeral—a tribute by those who had been touched by her over the years. Jeff and I have established this website in her memory as well as a place for you to visit, to feel close to her. You may have a “Linda story” that you want to share. Since she left us, a number of her friends have related stories involving an elephant—her favorite animal, or a sunflower—her favorite flower. You may just want to say hello to her, because there have been several instances when she has let us know of her presence. Or, others, inspired by the service, told of going back to their families and loved with a greater love and appreciation.
Linda was beautiful, bright and, as her physicians and nurses, as all of us found during her illness, so very brave. We will miss her, and our lives will never be the same, nor should they be.
With our thanks and love,
Jeff & Reg Stark
